After 10 years working in numerous international marketing management positions for various multinational companies (Moulinex/Seb, Altadis), I wanted to take on a new challenge. And it’s in the wonderful industry of wines and spirits that I found one. The specialised Master’s degree “International Trade in Wine and Spirits” I did at ESC Dijon reinforced my decision.

 

 

WHY THIS CHOICE?

Because I was fascinated by the products themselves: is there any other one capable of awakening all five senses while offering a true spirit of conviviality and authenticity of the terroir?
But also because I was looking for a new challenge: what sector can offer so much richness, so much terroir diversity and remain so misunderstood except by a small fringe of experts?

Why is the quality of their products unable to resonate with markets where the philosophy of “consuming less but consuming smarter” is gaining traction? Why aren’t our French products taking the place their deserve on developing markets?
I’m convinced these two questions can only find their answers in new marketing and commercial approaches that aim to better explain and promote products.
